An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27" x 37" [69 x 94 cm]) (Learn More) La Sombra del Murcielago (literally translates to "The Shadow of the Bat"), the 1969 Federico Curiel Mexican masked wrestler luchador wrestling horror thriller (a masked villain kidnaps women who reject him, but Blue Demon saves the day!) starring Blue Demon, Jaime Fernandez, Marta Romero, Fernando Oses, Gerardo Zepeda, Jose Loza, and Rene Barrera. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Ruzi Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Condition: fair. The poster is in lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the borders and foldlines/crossfolds, and there are LARGE tears in the lower third of the poster. Many of the tears or other defects as described above have been repaired with several pieces of tape from the back. This Mexican poster is EXTREMELY fragile. Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great, but it might require fairly extensive restoration). Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept how fragile it is, or are willing to pay to have it linenbacked. Learn More about condition grades
