A 1948 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) My Little Chickadee, the classic 1940 Edward Cline cowboy western romantic love triangle screwball comedy ("Together for the first time!"; written by W.C. Fields & Mae West) starring Mae West, W.C. Fields, Joseph Calleia, Dick Foran, Donald Meek, Anne Nagel, Fuzzy Knight, Margaret Hamilton, Ruth Donnelly, and Jackie Searl (as the Boy). Note that this was the only movie that these two legends appeared in together, and naturally, it was a battle of wills between them, with each wanting a bigger part (which was intensified because they wrote the script together!). This movie has some of the most legendary comic scenes ever, including Fields in a poker game, "romancing" Mae West, etc. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold. There were a few vertical tears in the right half of the top foldline, with some tiny bits of paper loss in the top quarter of the vertical fold, and a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. There were some pinholes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
