Artist: Joseph Smith Important Added Info: Note that this movie was originally in 3-D. The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This window card is from the "3-D" release. Because the window card is on a heavier paper stock, this item will need to be sent in a large flat package, and it CAN'T be rolled, as most linen posters can be. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The window card was folded across the middle and there were rough creases and tiny surface paper loss on that fold, with separation on the left and right ends. The top blank area was folded card and there are tape stains and discoloration in that area and in the top of the blank area. There are tape stains in the bottom border and the bottom right corner was completely detached, with slight surface paper loss. Overall, the window card was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the window card "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and any restorer could touch them up without re-backing the card).
