Hall, Ray Trampe, Herbert Dalmas") starring Buster Crabbe (billed as "Larry 'Buster' Crabbe"; in the title role "as 'Flash Gordon'"), Jean Rogers ("as Dale Arden"), Charles Middleton ("as Emperor Ming"), Frank Shannon ("as Dr. Zarkov"), Beatrice Roberts ("as Queen Azura"), Donald Kerr, Richard Alexander ("as Prince Barin"), C. Montague Shaw (billed as "Montague Shaw as 'Clay King'"), and Kane Richmond AND Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe, the 1940 Ford Beebe and Ray Taylor science fiction (sci-fi) comic-strip action adventure fantasy serial ("12 NEW dynamic episodes"; "From the Alex Raymond newspaper feature owned and copyrighted by King Features Syndicate") starring Buster Crabbe ("as Flash Gordon"), Carol Hughes ("as Dale Arden"), Charles Middleton ("as Emperor Ming"), Anne Gwynne ("as Sonja"), Frank Shannon ("as Dr. Zarkov"), Shirley Dean ("as Princess Aura"), and Roland Drew ("as Prince Barin").
