Tony Richardson's The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, the classic 1962 Tony Richardson English track-and-field prison troubled teen melodrama ("You can play it by rules... Or you can play it by ear - What Counts is that you play it right for You..."; "Run Boy Run!!"; "Screenplay by Alan Sillitoe, creator of Saturday Night and Sunday Morning") starring Michael Redgrave, Tom Courtenay (billed as "introducing Tom Courtenay"), Avis Bunnage, James Bolam, Dervis Ward, Topsy Jane, and Alec McCowen

Artist: S. John Woods
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Not only that, this is also the first English poster we have ever auctioned! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has a few relatively tiny pinholes around the edges and some creases and light wear along the foldlines and edges. There is minor separation in the lower edge of the right vertical foldline and there is some pen writing on the back that slightly bleeds through to the front at lower center in the blank paper area. There are a few smudges around the edges. Overall, the few defects of the rare poster are not very noticeable or distracting, and certainly if one chose to have the poster linenbacked it would look wonderful!
