War Rages in France, the 1917 U.S. World War I (WWI) Home Front poster ("We must feed them"; "They cannot fight and raise food at the same time"; "Denying ourselves only a little means Life to them"; "United States Food Administration") encouraging citizens to donate to the needy in France, and featuring Harry Everett Townsend art of refugees in a war-damaged town.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has creases and tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) along portions of some edges and most are backed by tape. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look great!
