Tal Para Cual (literally translates to "Tit for Tat"), the 1953 Rogelio A. Gonzalez Mexican musical romantic comedy (about a rancher who is blackmailed into trying to get money from a rich lady) starring Jorge Negrete, Maria Elena Marques, Luis Aguilar, Rosa de Castilla, and Armando Arriola. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. There were two large areas of paper loss at bottom center, which included the mouth and chin of the man at left and the mouth and chin of the man at right, plus areas around the bottom of his face, including part of his watch and there was also a tear going up the center of his head. The poster had darkened, more so on the foldlines, and it had some tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tears and small paper loss around the edges. A talented restorer re-drew the missing areas of paper in the bottom center, but you can see signs of it from close up. The poster views well from a reasonable viewing distance, but do not bid on it unless you can accept that it has had this substantial restoration.
