An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Stock Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) a 1940s stock poster created by Guaranteed Pictures for use by theaters showing re-releases of 1930s Smith Ballew movies. Theaters would order this 2-piece poster, which had a montage of images on the top and the bottom would be overprinted with the title of the film being shown. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "stock" poster created by Guaranteed Pictures for use by theaters showing re-releases of 1930s Smith Ballew movies in the 1940s. Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank rectangle at the bottom. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Sometimes stock posters are found with blank snipe areas. Most collectors consider them more valuable with a printed snipe attached, or with an overprinted snipe area. This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections. Condition: good to very good. The poster is fragile and is separating on some foldlines, but it is almost entirely "all there", and after a simple linenbacking, it will look great! Learn More about condition grades
