Some of his movies include: Top Gun, Risky Business, Rain Man, Mission: Impossible, The Last Samurai, Magnolia (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Jerry Maguire (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Firm, Born On The Fourth Of July (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), A Few Good Men, The Outsiders, Taps, and many others. He is often in the headlines related to his religion, Scientology (one of their two most famous members, along with John Travolta).
