Date Sold 6/2/2011 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 12 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Deluxe 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" Key Book Stills (Learn More) Coogan's Bluff, the 1968 Don Siegel New York City police crime melodrama ("Clint Eastwood gives New York 24 hours... to get out of town!"; "A man with no fear takes on a killer with no pity in a city with no heart!"; "Story by Herman Miller"; about a western cop in New York City) starring Clint Eastwood (in the title role as Coogan), Susan Clark, Don Stroud, Tisha Sterling, Betty Field, Lee J. Cobb, and Melodie Johnson. Note that the character that Eastwood plays in this movie bears a lot of resemblance to his later Dirty Harry, and that this movie was the inspiration for the TV series "McCloud"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills measure 7 1/2" x 9 1/4", but they have not been trimmed. Also note that this key book still is on a deluxe heavyweight paper stock and has an extra 1" on the left or top of the still with four punch holes (where the still was kept in a binder). SUPER IMPORTANT! THIS LOT CONTAINS 12 STILLS, BUT ONLY FOUR OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 12 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE, and NOT just the four pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best four stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing four of the stills. Note that on our larger lots of black and white stills (mostly the ones with nine or more in the lot), there are a small number of lots where there may be one or several duplicated stills in the stills not pictured (we only picture four of the stills on all of the black and white lots). Sometimes we noted when some of the stills not pictured were duplicates to the ones that were pictured, but we likely did not catch that on many of the lots (especially the ones with a large number of stills), so please do not bid on the lots of nine or more stills unless you can accept the possibility that there may be some duplicated stills contained in the lot. Condition: very good. Note that the stills are glued to a linen-like backing (we think it is highly likely these were key book stills, and that someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the left of the stills, no doubt so they could be framed).
