An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook Section (measures 12 1/4" x 19" [31 x 48 cm]; 16 pages) (Learn More) Fox Movietone Follies of 1929 (also released simply as "Fox Movietone Follies"), the 1929 David Butler romantic musical comedy ("All singing, dancing, talking revue"; "All talking - All singing - All dancing"; "Presented by William Fox"; about a rich young man in love with an aspiring Broadway starlet, and he can't get her to focus on him instead of her career, so he buys the show she is in, and has her fired, but that still doesn't get her interested in him!) starring Sue Carol, Lola Lane, Sharon Lynn, Dixie Lee (who was Bing Crosby's first wife), John Breeden, David Percy, David Rollins, Frank Richardson, and Stepin Fetchit. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this pressbook supplement! It says "CAMPAIGN BOOK" at the top of the cover, and we are not sure why they used that terminology, but it is solely a section of the original pressbook. It contains many heavily illustrated ads and newspaper stories and has a wonderful front cover, but NO posters. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of the pressbook section , plus an image of an inside spread, but of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire section we are selling. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS SOLELY A SECTION OF THE PRESSBOOK AND NOT AN ENTIRE PRESSBOOK! Condition: very good. The pressbook section is complete and uncut. It was folded across the middle.
