An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Fingers at the Window, the 1942 Charles Lederer romantic axe murderer crime mystery thriller ("Danger at nightfall!"; "Romance at daybreak!"; "From a story by Rose Caylor"; about a series of grisly axe killings, which are carried out by former inmates of a mental institution, and a guy figures out that someone is hypnotizing them into committing the murders, so he pretends to be insane so that he can be put in the mental institution and catch the mastermind behind the killings) starring Lew Ayres, Laraine Day, Basil Rathbone, Walter Kingsford, Miles Mander, Cliff Clark, and James Flavin NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and tears and small areas of paper loss scattered in the vertical fold, with a lesser amount on the horizontal folds. It had a partial extra horizontal fold below the left half of the top and bottom horizontal folds. It had some pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges, with stains in the right of the bottom blank border. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
