Note that A.J. Cronin was a doctor who had health problems in 1930. He wrote a book called "Hatter's Castle" in 1931, and it was so successful that he stopped practicing medicine and wrote a series of books, all centering around doctors, including "The Citadel" and "Keys of the Kingdom", all of which were made into movies! The poster is somewhat brittle and there is tattering and some areas of separation along the foldlines. There is tattering and some small paper loss around the edges of the poster in the blank borders with a single tape repair on the back of the poster at the right end of the middle horizontal fold. There is a 1 1/2" v-shaped tear in the "S" in "Shirley" in the credits at left. There are some tack holes along the vertical fold and around the edges of the poster with a few torn or enlarged from rough removal. There are minor creases throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines and around the edges). The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition and if one chose to have it restored it would look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
