Van Dyke runaway bride romantic love triangle newspaper reporter spy comedy ("'Hey, Mister, you took a long time getting around to kissing me!' [but once he began - um-m-m-m!]"; "It's simply marvelous!"; about a runaway bride who meets up with an undercover reporter, similar to "It Happened One Night", but in this movie, they get caught up with spies and are chased across Europe) starring Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, Franchot Tone, Reginald Owen, Robert Montgomery, Charles Butterworth, Rosalind Russell, Billie Burke, Mona Barrie, Christian Rub, and Ivan Lebedeff. Note that this was one of eight movies that Crawford and Gable made together. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that posters from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a one-sheet (17 years ago for $735, and it has a much inferior image to this poster) and a 24-sheet from this movie (and NO other posters, only lobby cards and stills) until we received this jumbo window card! Note that this poster can't possibly be rolled, and must be sent in a large flat package that measures approximately 24" x 30" (but it can be combined with other posters the same size, including ones that could be rolled). Please bear the expense of a large package in mind before bidding on this poster. Condition: good to very good. The poster had some nail holes, small tears, and stains around the edges, with some smudges and creases to the right of Crawford's face, in the area below Gable's chin. It had a few creases in Crawford's hair and forehead. Someone put some pieces of tape on the back of border tears and performed some slight restoration to the front without backing the card. It can be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or certainly, additional restoration can be performed. Learn More about condition grades
