An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 25 1/2" x 39" [65 x 99 cm]) (Learn More)

The Littlest Hobo, the 1958 Charles R. Rondeau canine German Shepherd dog lamb animal adventure melodrama ("The two most unforgettable characters you've ever met!") starring London the Dog (a German shepherd), Fleecie the Lamb, Buddy Hart, Carlyle Mitchell, and Wendy Stuart
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 25 1/2" x 39" [65 x 99 cm]. The poster was placed on to a very thin linen backing shortly after being printed. The purpose was to reinforce the poster, so that it would survive, when it was passed from theater to theater, and when it was put up on walls and taken down. Such posters can be professionally removed from the original linen and placed on to a proper linen backing. I have done this to several such posters, and they end up looking wonderful!

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The borders were trimmed from the poster. After the poster was mounted onto the linen, the borders were folded over the front of edges of the poster and glued down. There is a distributor snipe at top and a censor stamp at upper right. A restorer can remove the poster from the old linen and properly linenback it, after which it will look great!
