a lot of 5 souvenir program books from Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music, the classic 1965 Robert Wise (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) family musical (from the hit Broadway play by Rodgers & Hammerstein; "The happiest sound in all the world"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Julie Andrews (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; as Maria), Christopher Plummer (as Captain Von Trapp), Richard Haydn (as Max Detweiler), Peggy Wood (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; as Mother Abbess), Charmian Carr (as Liesl), Heather Menzies (as Louisa), Angela Cartwright (as Brigitta), The Bil Baird Marionettes, Eleanor Parker ("as The Baroness"), Duane Chase (as Kurt), and Daniel Truhitte (as Rolfe).

Note that our consignor KNOWS that he could surely get more money for these selling them one at a time, but he wants to sell them faster than that! So certainly the buyer of this lot could likely make good money reselling these one at a time (of course, depending on how much he pays for the lot). However, these CAN'T be reconsigned to us to be auctioned individually! We also have some other lots of multiple examples of different souvenir programs from this same consignor.
