Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and some creases and slight darkening on parts of the folds. It has a number of other defects where it is hard to tell if they were acquired before or after the poster was backed. Most significant are two uneven tears in the forehead and neck of the shadow and a diagonal scuff mark running through the man's jacket to the emblem. The poster was definitely not glued correctly, because there are areas bubbling up in the top right corner. The poster has some other tears and stains around the edges and some small stains scattered in a few parts of the poster. If I owned this extremely rare poster, I would surely have it removed from the linen and properly re-backed, and after that, it will display really well, but bear all of the above in mind before bidding.
