Jump for Glory (released in the U.S. as "When Thief Meets Thief"), the 1937 Raoul Walsh English romantic love triangle crime thriller (about two cat burglars who were once partners, but have split up, and they fall in love with the same beautiful woman, and then one is found dead, and the other is blamed for his death, and the man who is accused is actually innocent, but he thinks his girlfriend did it, so he offers to plead guilty, but eventually, it comes out that the man had actually committed suicide!) starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Valerie Hobson, Alan Hale Sr., Jack Melford, and Anthony Ireland

Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" item for this English movie! Also note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Douglas Fairbanks Jr.! Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of the pressbook, plus an image of an inside spread, but of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are selling (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Note that when studios would prepare pressbooks they would often include a sample of the herald. Most often, the herald is no longer still with the pressbook. Sometimes, the herald by itself will sell for almost as much as the rest of the entire pressbook! This pressbook contains the original herald that was included with it, and it is pictured next to the pressbook below. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of the pressbook, plus an image of any supplements or heralds (if there are any included with this pressbook), but of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are selling (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Note that this pressbook was folded across the center at one time. Because of this, this pressbook can be sent in one of our standard size packages (if it is purchased together with pressbooks that can NOT be folded, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our oversized packages). But if this pressbook is purchased by itself (or solely with other pressbooks that can be folded), then the shipping will be much lower, because it fits in a standard package.

About the Collection this Item Comes From
Note that this item (and 32 others we are auctioning this week, each in its own auction) was consigned to us by an individual who owned a company that made movies and videos with famous celebrities in the 1980s and 1990s. The owner of the company would have the celebrities sign items from their famous films, and sometimes he would find second or third celebrities to autograph an item he already had gotten signed! In addition, he would ask celebrities he came in contact with if they had signed items from other stars that they would sell to him, and he purchased a number of items that way. He also would purchase unsigned items from the famed Larry Edmunds Bookshop in Los Angeles (to have the celebrities sign), and while he was doing that he would also purchase some of their signed items. He would also purchase books by or about movie stars, and he would take those when he would meet those stars in person and have the stars autograph the title page. So all of these 33 autographed items we are auctioning were either obtained in person, obtained from celebrities who obtained them in person, or obtained from the Larry Edmunds Bookshop, and we feel certain that the autograph(s) on this item is authentic! Note that each of the 33 items from this consignor all have this paragraph on them.

Condition: good. The covers are separated from each other and from the rest of the pressbook. There are some faint stains on the front cover, and some greater stains on the back cover. There are tears and areas of paper loss across the center of the back cover. The interior pages are in pretty good condition.
