Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this English poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this partially English movie! Exactly what is this poster? It was the standard size for posters of live stage plays from the West End of London, and the size is called a "folio". On rare occasions (including this one), an English distributor made a folio sized poster (we know of this being done for Grand Prix, when it also opened at the Casino Cinerama Theatre in London). So it seems likely these folio posters were only created for special showings of special movies, which would explain why they are incredibly rare. It is a "teaser" poster that was printed PRIOR to the first London release of this movie in Cinerama. IMDB says that this movie did not open in London in 1968 until May 10, but we found elsewhere on the internet that it opened at the Casino Cinerama Theater on May 1st, which is what is printed on the bottom of this poster! So IMDB is incorrect, and this movie did open on May 1st in London. This is an incredibly rare country of origin English poster from its very first showing in London in Cinerama! Condition: fine. The poster was never folded and it has the most minor of border wear! Learn More about condition grades
