An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Jimmie's Millions, the 1925 James P. Hogan (billed as "J.P. Hogan") silent inheritance adventure melodrama ("A Richard Talmadge Production"; a clever story of a young man who is always late for everything, and his uncle leaves him his millions on the condition that he report to a lawyer every day at an exact time for three months; his cousin, who will inherit if he does not do what the will said, has him framed for murder, and he is in jail and can't report to the lawyer, but everything works out in the end) starring Richard Talmadge (in the title role as Jimmie Wicherly), Betty Francisco, Charles Clary, Brinsley Shaw, and Dick Sutherland. Note that Richard Talmadge was born "Sylvester Alphonse Metz", and he was an acrobat with the Barnum and Bailey Circus. He got a job in Hollywood as a stuntman for Douglas Fairbanks Sr., and then graduated to starring in movies, always performing lots of stunts. He had two acrobat brothers, Otto Metzetti and Victor Metz, who appeared with him in some of his movies. Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned five scene cards from this movie, but we have never before auctioned this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. There is a very tiny tear near the center of the top blank border and a few minor creases around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in excellent condition.
