An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Missing Girls, the 1936 Phil Rosen gambling politics kidnapping gangster murder crime thriller ("Martin Mooney's Daring Expose") starring Roger Pryor, Muriel Evans, Sidney Blackmer, Noel Madison, Ann Doran, and George Cooper. The title of this movie is pretty deceptive, because the "missing girls" are only a small part of the movie, which mostly concerns a senator who wants to legalize gambling in his state, and the gamblers who run the gambling shoot him to kill the bill, and then pin the murder on someone else. The poster had many creases and tears across the top foldline and paper loss at the top crossfold and there were creases down the vertical foldline and across the bottom two foldlines. There were pinholes, creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed many years ago, and it was not the best backing. If I owned the poster, I would have it properly re-backed by a talented restorer, after which it would look great!
