Breaker Morant, the classic 1980 Bruce Beresford Australian Boer War military courtroom lawyer legal melodrama ("HERO OR VILLAIN... His exploits shook an empire... And made him a legend."; "When they speak of heroes - Of villains - Of men who look for action, who choose between honor and revenge - They tell the story of 'Breaker Morant'"; "Adapted from the play 'Breaker Morant' by Kenneth G. Ross") starring Edward Woodward (in the title role as Lt. Henry 'Breaker' Morant), Jack Thompson, John Waters, Bryan Brown, Charles Tingwell, Terence Donovan, Ray Meagher, Lewis Fitz-Gerald (billed as "Introducing Lewis Fitz-Gerald"), and Rod Mullinar NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this movie was a huge success in Australia, and new posters were printed to fulfill the demand. There is some disagreement among collectors about which was the first printing. Some believe that the red daybill is the first printing, and some believe the white is. All agree that the full-color daybill that mentions Jack Thompson's Best Supporting Actor award from Cannes is the 2nd printing. All of these posters are from the first release! Because we cannot be 100% certain of the printing order, we have simply listed the posters as different styles.
