An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) George Murphy was an Irish actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. Some of his movie include: Battleground, Broadway Melody of 1940, Bataan, and For Me and My Gal. In the 1960s, he turned to politics, and in 1964, was elected Senator of California. He passed away in 1992 at the age of 89. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by George Murphy! Note that this is a key book still that measures 8" x 10". There are many key book stills that measure 8" x 11" and have punch holes in the extra 1", but this is one of the key book stills that measures 8" x 10" exactly, and has no punch holes, and it has a stamp on the back that reads "THIS IS A KEY SET PRINT". Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
