An Original Vintage 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] News Photo (Learn More)

Petrified Forest, the 1955 Delbert Mann made-for-TV melodrama (an installment from the "Producer's Showcase" television series) starring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Dick Elliott, Henry Fonda, and Paul Hartman. Note that this is a completely forgotten TV series, but some of the episodes are extremely interesting historically, especially this episode, which had Bogart and Bacall redoing Bogart's first giant hit, "The Petrified Forest", which had brought him back to Hollywood after he had seemingly failed there! This was 18 years after Bogart had first made the movie, and of course, his wife Lauren Bacall took the role that Bette Davis had played in the 1937 film version.

Important Added Info: Note that this cool news photo shows a split image of the stars of this 1955 TV version compared with the stars of the 1937 film version (Bogart was in both!). Also note that this news photo measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm].
