Artist: Brian Bysouth
Important Added Info: Note that we don't know exactly what this poster is or what it was used for. It does NOT have printing on the back, so it was not removed from a magazine (unless it was a special insert poster). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster is linenbacked, and normally we would send linenbacked posters rolled in a tube, but because this is a very small poster, and because rolling it might caused it to have creases, we intend to send it in a flat package instead (however, if the purchaser of this poster also purchases other linen posters, and absolutely wants us to send it rolled with those other linens, we will do so).

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It also had tiny paper loss in the top of the vertical fold. It had smudges and scuffs scattered throughout, more so in the solid black areas, and tiny pinholes in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
