If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, scuffs, and tiny bits of paper loss scattered down the vertical foldline, with a lesser amount on the horizontal folds. There were pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster. At some point after the poster was backed, it was roughly handled while it was rolled, and there are now seven faint horizontal creases in the left two-thirds of the poster (both in the poster and in the linen itself, but they are mostly pretty faint).
