Mankiewicz"; "Titles by Joe Farnham"; about a former sea captain whose wife died during childbirth; he gave the child to his brother, a priest, to raise her, and he is now a brothel owner and a crook, and his daughter does not know that; he has a partner who is much more respectable, and the daughter falls in love with the partner, and that causes a falling out between the two men!) starring Lon Chaney Sr. (as Singapore Joe, the disfigured leader of the gang), Lois Moran, Owen Moore, Henry B. Walthall, Sojin, Rose Langdon, John George, Willie Fung, and Eddie Sturgis. Note that this is a partially "lost" film which means that no surviving complete copies are thought to exist. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned six lobby cards from this movie, but we have NEVER before auctioned THIS card, which has Chaney standing at the back of the bar where "the human wreckage of the Seven Seas foregathered"! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is some darkening in the outer edge of the upper left blank border, with tiny paper loss in each bottom blank corner, tiny dot stains around the edges, and a tack hole in each corner. There is a 1 1/2" horizontal scratch mark in the middle right of the inset image and a pair of staple holes in the top center of the inset image background.
