2 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

The Great McGinty, the classic 1940 Preston Sturges political crooked politics screwball comedy starring Brian Donlevy (in the title role as Dan McGinty), Muriel Angelus, Akim Tamiroff, Allyn Joslyn, and William Demarest. Note that this movie was originally intended to be released in the U.S. with the title "Down Went McGinty", but at the last minute was changed to "The Great McGinty" (it was SO "last minute" that U.S. one-sheet posters were actually printed with "Down Went McGinty" on them, and giant snipes were glued over that area)!

Condition: good to very good. Each has some degree of creases and scuffs scattered throughout and either a red ink stamp or some red ink writing at lower left. The still pictured at top has a 2" tear at lower center (repaired with tape from the back).
