An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Mexican Spitfire, the 1940 Leslie Goodwins romantic newlywed comedy (the second of many "Mexican Spitfire" movies from this popular comedy series) starring Lupe Velez (in the title role), Leon Errol, Donald Woods, Linda Hayes, Elisabeth Risdon, and Cecil Kellaway. Note that the first movie in this series was made a year earlier, and was called "The Girl from Mexico". In that movie, Donald Woods' character first meets Lupe Velez, and at the end of the movie, they are finally united, but it was not intended to be the start of a series. But the movie proved very popular, so a year later, this sequel was made, which began with them being married, and there were six more sequels over the next few years. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine. There is tiny paper loss in the bottom left corner. There were two tiny tears, one in the right of the top border and one in the upper right border, and they were repaired with tiny tape from the back. There was tiny paper loss in the right of the top border, and someone put a tiny piece of tape on the front and back of that area. There are some faint smudges around the edges of the card. Other than the above, the card is in nice condition, and other than the tape described above, this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
