An Original Vintage Unfolded Special Movie Poster (measures 42" x 59 1/2" [107 x 151 cm]) (Learn More)

Skill, Brains, and Guts, the 1975 boxing sports documentary ("Produced and distributed exclusively by The Big Fights, Inc.") narrated by Richard Riley. Note that, based on information found online, this documentary features interviews with Muhammad Ali and classic Ali fights. We found an online site selling the film on super 8, and they indicate it is a 90-minute film that is 60% black & white, and then the final 40% is in color, and it seems to just be a compilation of fight films and interviews, with no real connection between them! It obviously received a theatrical release somewhere in 1975, because the one-sheet has NSS information and the distributor (Bryanston), but we don't know where exactly the movie played, or for how long. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have only once before auctioned this special poster! Not only that, but before we were consigned the first example of this poster we auctioned, we thought that only one-sheets had been made for this movie, because that is all we had auctioned. But in December of 2020 we were consigned an example of this 42x60 special poster, and also an unfolded one-sheet, and we auctioned both of those in December, and they sold for $885 for the first example of this poster, and $420 for the first example of the unfolded one-sheet. Now our consignor has sent us another example of each of these two posters, which he obtained from an employee of the distributor of this movie, which surely accounts for why both are unfolded! We are again auctioning the two posters in two separate auctions.

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It was rolled too tightly at one point, and there are horizontal creases scattered in the lower part of the poster. It has a few light creases scattered in the rest of the image and some tiny bits of paper loss and tiny tears in small parts of the borders. After a simple linenbacking or paperbacking, the poster will display wonderfully!
