An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 17 1/2") (Learn More) Ross Hunter's The Chalk Garden, the 1964 Ronald Neame English/U.S. coming-of-age teen romantic melodrama ("A girl on the verge of womanhood... A woman on the edge of loneliness... Both suspicious of affection, yet starved for love..."; "Ross Hunter's production of the acclaimed Broadway and London stage success!"; "A girl rebelling against life... A woman trying to recapture hers!"; "From the play by Enid Bagnold") starring Deborah Kerr, Hayley Mills, John Mills, Edith Evans (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Felix Aylmer, and Elizabeth Sellars NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
