Seiter romantic musical comedy ("Suggested by the stage play by Edward Dowling and Cyrus Wood"; produced by Darryl F. Zanuck) starring Alice Faye (in the title role as Sally), Tony Martin, Jimmy Durante, Gregory Ratoff, Joan Davis (in the title role as Irene), Marjorie Weaver (in the title role as Mary), Gypsy Rose Lee (in one of her early movies when she was billed as "Louise Hovick"), Barnett Parker, Fred Allen, and The Raymond Scott Quintet NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. There was a diagonal crease in the top left corner that went through the "AL" of "ALICE" and into the background beneath it. There was also staining in that area. There were stains, tears, and paper loss around the edges of the poster, with a few scuffs and light stains scattered throughout. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restorer painted over all four blank borders, to "even them out". Learn More about condition grades
