An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Chapter #2 ("In the Talons of the Hawk") One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Hawk of the Hills, the 1927 Spencer Gordon Bennet silent California Native American Indian cowboy western serial ("Story and Scenario by George Arthur Gray"; about renegade California Indians, led by the ruthless "Hawk", who fight the settlers, and the settlers are helped by the friendly Shoshone Indians) starring Allene Ray, Walter Miller, James Robert Chandler, Jack Ganzhorn, and Frank Lackteen (in the title role as The Hawk) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there is a caption on the poster in the lower left of the image that reads, "The Hawk tries to 'induce' his prisoner to talk" (this shows that interrogation techniques have not changed all that much in the past 78 years!). Also note that the poster was nicely professionally linenbacked. It had small holes at the crossfolds and some tears and small paper loss on the foldlines as well as tears, pinholes, and creases around the edges of the poster. The poster was very nicely linenbacked (during which time its relatively minor defects were corrected), and really looks great! Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
