McGann murder mystery psychic zodiac astrology fantasy crime thriller ("The mysteries of the heavens disclosed!"; "See it -- it's different!"; "Original Story by Manley Hall"; about a female Asian astrologist who correctly predicts a murder, and then the police hire her to help solve other murders!) starring Margaret Lindsay, Anna May Wong, Lola Lane, Anthony Averill, Charles C. Wilson, and Frank Jaquet. Note that, in keeping with the plot of the movie, the actors were billed in the order of their astrological sign, rather than by the importance of their role or by alphabetical order! This was a company in the Midwest that from roughly 1936 to roughly 1941 printed its own one-sheets and lobby card sets (and a very few inserts, half-sheets, three-sheets, 40x60s and stills) for three major studio movies (Warner Brothers, Paramount and United Artists, but no other studios). The posters and lobby cards are from the original release of the movie, and almost always have completely different artwork from the regular studio release. They never have the name of the releasing studio on the poster or any of the lobby cards. Sometimes, "other company" posters or lobby cards have images that are the equal of those from the regular studio release posters or lobby cards! Condition: good.
