a John Wayne stock poster used by theaters to advertise re-released (and in some countries, the first release) John Wayne cowboy western movies. Theaters would order this poster, which has a large blank area where the title of the specific film being shown could be added, thus getting many posters for the price of one

Important Added Info: Note that in the case of this poster, the theater was showing the 1934 John Wayne movie, The Trail Beyond, and that title has been neatly overprinted in the area at bottom center. This three-sheet was printed in 3 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: good to very good. There is brown paper tape on the back of the borders.
