An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded International Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Medium Cool, the classic 1969 Haskell Wexler journalism photography television news pseudo-documentary ("Beyond the age of innocence... into the age of awareness"; "Written & directed by Haskell Wexler"; about news photographers, partly set at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, and incorporating actual footage from the Convention) starring Robert Forster, Verna Bloom, Peter Bonerz, Marianna Hill, Harold Blankenship, Christine Bergstrom, Peter Boyle (in his first credited movie role!), and Haskell Wexler. Note that this was one of the rare mainstream movies that (like Midnight Cowboy) was released with an X rating, but because some theaters refused to show such movies, it was successfully appealed and changed to an R rating. The studio created snipes to cover the original rating on many posters. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was stamped "FOR" which means it was printed for use outside the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "DOM" for use within the United States). Often, the "FOR" posters would have a different (sometimes racier) image than that for the one used in the United States. Also note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good to very good. There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded (and also, someone wrote a name on that area, but neither the writing nor the darkening has much effect on the reverse side). There are some creases and several tears along the foldlines that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded.
