An Antique Document Military Commission (measures 16" x 20" [41 x 51 cm]) (Learn More) An antique document which was created to commemorate the Secretary of War, Newton Baker, appointing a First Lieutenant in the Officers' Reserve Corps in 1917, before the U.S. entered World War I. The documentary is counter signed by the Adjutant General in the top left corner and there is an official seal in the bottom left corner. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this document is printed on a heavy window card-like stock that cannot be rolled. It will need to be shipped in a large flat package. Condition: poor to fair. The document has much wear and surface paper loss, especially around the edges.
