Werker musical romantic fantasy comedy (about an pilot who crash lands on an island and finally returns home to find that he is the last fertile man on Earth, which naturally causes many, many women to chase after him!) starring Raul Roulien, Gloria Stuart, Edna May Oliver, Herbert Mundin, and Joan Marsh. Note that this was long considered a "lost" film, meaning that there were no surviving examples of it, but a new print surfaced recently and was shown in 2017! Also note that it is a really strange and unusual movie that was intended to make Raul Roulien (a Brazilian actor who had a memorable song in "Flying Down to Rio") into an American romantic musical comedy star (like Maurice Chevalier), but apparently he was far from a Chevalier, and William Fox gave up on him, and he returned to Brazil in 1934! Important Added Info: Note that this a very rare group of lobby cards for this movie (we have never auctioned ANY lobby cards for this title in all of our years of auctioning!). Condition: very good. Both have a sticker on back of the upper right blank border but those have little or no effect on the front. The cards are otherwise in pretty nice condition and they have no actual tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind! Learn More about condition grades
