A Linenbacked French Special Poster (measures 32" x 47 1/4" [81 x 120 cm]) (Learn More) Palais de L'Industrie Exposition (literally translates to "Palace of Industry Exhibition"), the 1875 French poster promoting an exhibition/trade fair related to maritime and export industries which was held at the Palais de L'Industrie in Paris, France from July 10th to November 15th. Note that this poster features art of a boy in a sailor uniform holding a flag announcing the exhibition If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had minor wear on the folds and some faint smudges in the solid background areas. It had an oval area of paper loss in the bottom right that only slightly affected a tiny bit of the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
