Originally a designer for Hallmark, he is best known for creating "Beetle Bailey" and "Hi and Lois". Mort passed away in 2018 at the age of 94. Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to surely be authentic (it was sent to a collector, Murray A. Harris, who sent stamped self-addressed postcards to many famous celebrities, asking them to sign them and return them). In this case, Mr. Walker very kindly drew a color image of Beetle Bailey!
