An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French Large Stage Play Poster (31x47; measures 31 1/4" x 47 1/4" [79 x 120 cm]) (Learn More) La Mazourka Bleue (literally translates to "The Blue Mazurka"), the 1929 French musical stage play production (of the operetta by Leo Stein and Bela Jeanbach; with music by Franz Lehar). Note that this poster features art of a Polish man and woman in fancy clothes by Georges Dola Artist: Georges Dola Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had slight darkening around the edges and some tiny brown dot stains scattered around the edges. It had two tiny bits of paper loss near the bottom of the lady's dress. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
