Artist: Roger Kastel Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had creases and fine surface paper loss along most of the folds, with a number of creases and scuffs scattered in the blue background areas, but also some others in parts of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. After the poster was backed, it acquired a thumbnail crease in the blue area below the "DR" of "DREYFUSS" and also in the bottom right corner of the blue background area.
