An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Roaring Twenties, the classic 1939 Raoul Walsh New York City post-World War I (WWI) Prohibition romantic love triangle organized-crime bootlegger gangster melodrama (based on the story 'The World Moves On' by Mark Hellinger; about three men who get out of the army after World War I, and two of them go into the bootlegging business, and they achieve great success, and one of them has an unrequited love for a woman!) starring James Cagney, Priscilla Lane, Humphrey Bogart, Gladys George, Jeffrey Lynn, Frank McHugh, Paul Kelly, and Al Hill NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release lobby cards from this classic James Cagney/Humphrey Bogart movie are quite rare. We have only auctioned three first release Warner Bros. lobby cards, and the last time was 10 years ago! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card has darkened somewhat, typical of Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period. There are pinholes and smudges around the edges, with a pinhole and smudges near the center of the card, and one in the background above Cagney's head. The card is not at all fragile, which is a big plus. One could certainly display the card as it is, or one could choose to have restoration performed. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
