Masaccio Restituito (literally translates to "Masaccio Returned"), the 1988 Italian poster promoting an exhibition of artwork by Italian painter Masaccio (who is regarded as the first great Italian painter of the Quattrocento period of the Italian Renaissance) which took place at the Museum of Cascia di Reggello on December 18th. Note that this poster features a close-up of Masaccio's San Giovenale Triptych, which was discovered in an attic in 1962 in poor condition (it had allegedly been hidden there before World War II [WWII] to prevent the Germans from removing it).
