Schoedsack science fiction (sci-fi) mad-scientist-shrinks-people-to-tiny-size fantasy adventure horror thriller ("The picture that was made behind locked doors"; "The thrill of the year!"; "Original Screen Play by Tom Kilpatrick") starring Albert Dekker (in the title role as Dr. Alexander Thorkel), Janice Logan, Thomas Coley, Charles Halton, Victor Kilian, and Frank Yaconelli NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This is a military one-sheet. Military one-sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one-sheets when the movie was first released. They were made to be used on U.S. military installations. Sometimes the poster has small writing at the bottom that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only", and sometimes they just have "Litho in U.S.A." or "Printed in U.S.A." in small letters in the lower right or lower left (most often, the ones that were used in the 1950s in the Korean War have "Litho in U.S.A.", and the ones that were used in the 1960s in the Vietnam War have "Printed in U.S.A.). This is one of the posters that says "Printed in U.S.A.". What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. It had pinholes, smudges, and darkening around the edges and some smudges in the bottom center white background area. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
