Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 11" x 14" Stage Play Still (Learn More) William Gaxton was an actor from the 1920s to the 1940s. Some of his movies include: It's The Old Army Game, Best Foot Forward, and Diamond Horseshoe. Gaxton also appeared in several Broadway productions. He passed away in 1963 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this week on eBay eMoviePoster is selling a collection of 43 deluxe 11" x 14" stills that are NOT from movies, but rather are from stage plays of the late 1920s or early 1930s. WE HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY OF THESE BEFORE! While any movie theater might have received 11x14s for movies they were showing, these stage play 11x14s were probably just sent to some New York City media outlets, and were probably thrown away! So we would have to assume that these are extremely rare, and the fact that we have never had any of these before backs that up. Also note that in some case we know the actor or actress in the still but do not know the stage play the still is from, and that sometimes the still has a photographer name at the bottom of the still, but we are not familiar with these photographers. But all of these stills are printed on deluxe heavy stock (just like deluxe 11x14 movie stills). All of these 43 stage play 11x14s are guaranteed to be original, and many have notations on the back as well as stamps showing where the still came from. NOTE: Because we are selling more than one 11x14 of William Gaxton this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate between the sales, and we did so by marking them "#1, #2, etc. Be sure to see the other William Gaxton still we have available on eBay this week. Condition: good to very good. There is a horizontal crease running from the middle of the still to the right edge. There are two areas of paper loss in the right border. There is a 1" tear near the top of the left border.. On the back of the still the name "William Gaxton" is written in pencil. Earlier, someone had written "Ramon Novarro", but crossed it out when they realized their mistake! Learn More about condition grades
