An Original Vintage 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Wardrobe Test Photo (Learn More) Marie McDonald was a sexy actress from the 1940s to the 1960s, sometimes billed as Marie 'The Body' McDonald. She was crowned Miss New York in 1939. Some of her movies include: The Geisha Boy, It Started with Eve, and Pardon My Sarong. She passed away in 1965 at the age of 42 from a drug overdose. Important Added Info: Note that this is a test photo used to show one of the many costumes that Marie McDonald (and not Lana Turner as is written on the back) wore during this movie (the stars would put on each costume and stand next to a board with the details of when that costume was used in the movie, and then they would try on a different one and repeat the process, until they had tried on all their costumes; I wonder if major stars of today have to endure this same ritual?). Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]. Condition: good to very good.
