An Autographed 1 3/4" x 4 1/4" [4 x 11 cm] Index Card with Deluxe 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Ann Sothern (born Harriette Arlene Lake) was an actress from the 1920s to the 1980s. She had small uncredited showgirl-like parts from 1927 to 1933, and then she started getting much better roles, and she was a leading lady in the 1930s, and stayed a top star through the 1950s. Some of her movies include: A Letter to Three Wives, Footlight Parade, The Best Man, The Whales Of August (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and scores of others, and she is also well remembered from the "Private Secretary" and "The Ann Sothern Show" TV series in the 1950s. She passed away in 2001 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Ann Sothern! Also included is a deluxe 8" x 10" still that the index card could be matted and framed together with! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
