She was primarily known for performing in the stride piano and boogie-woogie style. She also played bebop, swing jazz, and classical music, and she appeared as herself in the movie, Sensations of 1945. She passed away in 1998 at the age of 76. Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
