Help Your Country Stop This, Enlist in the Navy, the 1917 U.S. World War I (WWI) recruitment poster encouraging men to enlist in the U.S. Navy, and featuring Frank Brangwyn art of a lifeboat full of sailors and civilians trying to escape from a sinking ship.

Important Added Info: Note that this war poster was printed in 2 sections. Finally, note that this poster was folded across the middle at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

UPDATED 12/05/2011: Note that we initially listed this poster as being kraftbacked when it is NOT kraftbacked and there was a typo in the measurement field. Also, upon further review, we have altered the Overall Condition to "poor to fair" from "fair". The condition description itself has not changed. Please be aware of this when bidding.

Condition: poor to fair. The poster is extremely fragile and there are tears and small areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster, and a few scattered within the image (clearly visible in our super-sized image). The poster is in URGENT need of expert professional restoration, and is in MUCH lesser condition! But the poster is mostly "all there", and after proper linenbacking and restoration, it will look great! But please do not bid on this poster unless you have carefully read the above and can accept the defects this poster has and are willing to pay to have it properly restored.
